Se vuol ballare...

A recital with bass Manos Christofakakis and French pianist Mélisande Sinsoulier. A musical journey from the 18th century Naples to the 20th century Buenos Aires, with opera and tango melodies.

With compositions of:
Giovanni Battista Pergolesi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Gioachino Rossini, Pavlos Carrer, Sergey Rachmaninoff, Giuseppe Verdi, Manos Chatzidakis, Mariano Mores, Luciano Leocata, Virgilio Expósito, José Canet, Lucio Demare, Aníbal Troilo, Astor Piazzolla.

Manos and Mélisande collaborated in 2018-2019 and gave a series of performances in Heraklion. Recently, they gave recitals with Oratorio and Opera extracts at the church of St. Peter of the Dominicans in Heraklion, an event organized by the "Apollo" Musical Association as part of the "2nd Music Trilogy", co-organized by the Region of Crete and the Heraklion Ephorate of Antiquities, on the occasion of the International day for Monuments and Sites on April 18th. On June 23, 2019, they will have the honour to participate in the important international classical music festival "Caza dei Mezzo" in Makry Gialos.
